3. Believe - you must have genuine respect for the show and the presenter/team
4. ALWAYS work with audio.
5. If you present a problem, ALWAYS present possible solutions
6. Praise publicly, criticize privately
7. Tell the truth
8. End with Agreed Upon Achievable goals

VALERIE GELLER - GELLER MEDIA INTERNATIONAL AIRCHECK CRITERIA:

Does this show:

Inform? Entertain? Inspire? Persuade? Connect?

Does each topic contain:

FOCUS ENGAGE (What is in it for the listener? Why should someone listen to this?) OPINION/POSITION POWERFUL STORYTELLING

ARE THE TOPICS:

Health? Heart? Money? Transformative?

Is this:

Relevant? Does it matter to the presenter? Do the listeners care? (Ask: "SO WHAT?")

Is the DJ:

Talking, NOT reading...? Connecting with the listeners? Making it matter?

Does this sound "Manufactured" for air or real and authentic?

Is there Humour? Journey? Powerful moments of truth that connect? Visuals? Something new? Authentic self revelation on the part of the presenter? (Do I get to know YOU, the person, from hearing the show?) Are the topics "personal" without going private? Did any segment/moments go "too long" or "feel" boring? Were any risks taken in today's show?

What were the "Talkable Topics" for your listeners - for later, to discuss with others?

Was this show fun to listen to?

Would someone sit parked in a darkened garage with the groceries melting in the back -- continue to listen?

AGREED UPON ACHIEVABLE GOALS:

List specific - mutually agreed - upon goals that the presenter, you or the producer can do immediately (like, tonight or tomorrow) to self correct thus getting your show immediately to the next level:

1)
2)
3)

This ancient Chinese proverb, hits on the essence of powerful communication:

"Tell me I'll forget. Show me I may remember. But involve me and I'll understand."
